With NinetyforChill.com evolving into more than the rough draft blog for my primary blog, MainEventoftheDead.com needs a new place to test out the formatting of recent blogs. "Main Event of the Dead" is my screenplay about pro-wrestling and zombies. I have a movie website, so may as well have a wrestling site.

Cursing: The Cubs, Soccer Planet, and "Lost and Delirious"

*Blog post started on November 13, 2020.

This must be my bad luck for Voorhees Day. With two days off in the middle of the week, I failed to remember that I needed to prepare my tweets for Wednesday ahead of time. To make up for my tweets through the work week, the Wednesday night tweets have been prepped to drop tonight.

"Smackdown" tonight and "Talk'n ShopaMania 2" tomorrow give me some hashtags to grab onto, so my slip up seems rather inconsequential. It made me think about prepping another batch to post from Saturday through Monday. And that is when it hit me. I am not going to have enough content for Monday through Wednesday. Ambitions for me are somethings that always end up being cursed.

...

So now I am just venting. If that is going to be my thing with this post, I may as well rip into the Canadian attempt at "Dead Poet Society", "Lost and Delirious". Trying to revisit a film that I stayed up for 20 years ago because of the "Strong Sexual Content" warning and excessive use of "Add It Up" by the Violent Femmes was a goal of mine.

Maturity was something I lacked which may have prevented me from appreciating what the film was trying to do. Unfortunately, a poorly written forbidden, lesbian-love story proved to lack the depth I thought I was youthfully ignoring.

#MeToo and the Disgruntled’s Real World Champ Part 4

http://simonscat.tumblr.com/post/182579442109/happy-lunar-new-year

Damn, it has been a tough week. Joe Madden may have over thought the Cubs last two games. “Venom” is a so bad it is good movie which leads me to fear the fate of the Sony franchises. I seem to be getting ahead of my blogs by one week, hence I may be working too much.

And then you have the all but certain demise of the country with the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation. How do you tell a happily married man who takes you to sporting event and respects his Nike-boycotting wife that there is no way I want to stand for a flag that represents a dead country. But I respect the man, so I should not embarrass him despite his wife has said that we cannot fault powerful men for abusing their power, unless they were communist revolutionaries.
I never got away with anything growing up. Being too honest has plagued me. Striving for decency deters me from a negative path. The point is, if I screwed up, I paid, and have always paid. If we have learned anything from the Me Too Movement, is that everybody should answer for their indiscretions. It is not vengeance, it is a means to encourage protecting those whose safety is the target of those in power.
Thus, I am pondering if I should make this rant relevant to the current theme of the blog by exploring the incidents of sexual assault and harassment that I have experienced from my time in professional wrestling. You could call it hazing bullshit, but the fact of the matter is if I broke these guys faces, I risked never being booked again by that promotion. What really hurts is that the promotion never used me again. To their credit, I was booked and wisely ended up being a healthy scratch on my last trip to Southern Wisconsin for a last minute appearance by Silas Young, so at least the promotion remembered me.
It was 14 years ago. I was victimized. You cannot hold it against me if I was bumped from the card for someone less prestigious that The Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling (do not hold the gimmick against him). The culprits and facilitators are remembered, especially those who boasted about it. The stories were something I laughed off with the guys in the business like it was just a permanent marker stunt on my face, but when normal people ask for crazy and obscene stories from the business, you realize that the ones that come to immediate mind demonstrate behavior that is not acceptable. You realize that you were abused and you feel you can only blame yourself since you still want to be a part of the business. You cannot blame the sport.
But, these guys (for the most part) are friends and a couple of them have kids. There is a slim chance their life could be ruined since I am already wrestling’s persona non grata south of I-80. Why be afraid of going national? Should I wait till I hear about their next job opportunity? I have not killed their present, but why do I feel like I have paid for their constant happiness I have perceived?
I suppose I should just be happy not having post traumatic stress in regards to this issue, or am I just now showing that I suffer from these stunts? Time does not heel all wounds. If this would have been realized when I was in therapy in regards to abusive relationships and and failing to prevent a gas station suicide, perhaps the Supreme Court fulfilling the wills of sex offenders for the next 20 years would not leave me considering snuffing myself (I really needed a better therapist, so probably not).
Hopefully, Ronan Farrow gets wind of this blog and helps me decide if I will name names. Provided that we get over the mess of me being a Woody Allen apologist of course. Time wears away, it does not heal. So I guess the moral is not to wound in the first place.
With that said, I would like to apologize to “Lauren” at Big Al’s in Peoria (2015) if I was too handsy to begin with. It was me testing boundaries, and regardless if I stopped when told, I did wrong to begin with.
I gotta at least answer for my indiscretions, before I get this blog back on track. If only I could hold off on the posting till WWE’s Evolution for the sake of cultural relevance. But, releasing this a week later may be too much time from when I wrote this.
Anyhow this blog has all the stuff marks want in bold, so the intro and transition do not matter to anyone besides me I suppose. More reason to try and be brave about abuse and the regret that people may have givien a shit about me if my struggles were more relatable than just being in my head.
Pardon the dark tone. It makes me hope a lot of the visitors just paged down to The Disgruntled’s Real World Champion content.

90-Minute Red Box: "The Hunt" a Great Wind Down from "Full Gear" Weekend.

*Blog post started on November 9, 2020.

All the ratty clothes that I do not want Mom to throw out have been washed. I have yet to open up the vape from my last NuEra visit, but when you have a bit of liquidity to your finance, further stockpiling seemed like a wise move. If only it was not next door to my laundromat, the dispensary might be out of mind. Mooching water from my places of work has been optimized. This all means that I am ready to hibernate for the winter.

At least I am more ready for winter than those Charmin Bears. Get a bidet. You can use less with Charmin, but the fur must still require more bog rolls than what I use. Then again, they might be stuck on the product because of a perineal fixation, but bidet manages that better.

The hibernation talk is because I am just feeling exhausted. It might be the diabetes, but the sudden onset of this throws me off. After all of the reestablishing a relationship with OSF, I think these symptoms have suddenly become prevalent. Heartburn is something I dealt with once, twice at most before 2020. After hearing it was a symptom of diabetes, it seems to always be lurking. Perhaps it was the power of suggestion being used by the physician assistant I see. Or it could just be 2020.

2020 is perhaps the year that Trump's America deserved. Too bad they just reject any kind of suggestion in the name of liberty. The sudden unseasonable weather has led me to close up my apartment, so the allergies are fine at the moment. People like the following are my only headache right now.

Switched my phone, so I do not have the list of the most deplorable on hand. Please accept my apologies.

Since we all know they are delusional, it is easy just to ignore them when their deity will soon be forced off his pedestal. If you consider his health and skin color, calling him a golden cow is not much of a stretch. You figure his moronic followers are more aware of the Old Testament than the new based on the values they display.

If only they understood irony. If they did, we would not have to worry about hate crimes before the term ends. I am little bit concerned for the President Elect with a Friday the 13th coming up. Otherwise, a weekend with great wrestling and a decent 90-minute flick, it is the closest I have been to being carefree in a while.

AEW Full Gear and DRCW Title Changes

I was surprised that we left the show with the tag team and secondary championships changing hands. After the Tully Blanchard was barred from ringside, a Bucks victory was guaranteed. With the lack of drama in the women's division, Shida seemed more susceptible to defeat.

Cody's latest reign did not have the time to be spectacular, so being a constant thorn in Darby Allin's side seemed more appropriate. Allin chasing the title can sell tickets, but with no crowds, AEW might be wise in saving that. But did that cost them the Disgruntled's OCHO Championship?

The 147th Disgruntled's Real World Tag Team Champions:
AEW's FTR: Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler (September 5, 2020 to  November 7, 2020)

It was a relatively short reign, but they had successfully defended the championship against all babyface teams aside from the Young Bucks. Without Tully Blanchard, it can be said they were not at full strength, so they might still be the best team despite losing the title.

The 148th and Current Disgruntled's Real World Tag Team Champions:
AEW's Young Bucks: Matt and Nick Jackson (3) (Reign started on November 7, 2020)

They are former DRCW champions and were Japan's most reliable tag team. If only there was a clear time that the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship was superior than the ROH title.

The 149th Disgruntled's OCHO Champion:
AEW's Cody Rhodes (3) (October 7, 2020 to November 7, 2020)

It lasted a month and had no affirming title defenses. Why could not Darby Allin just take the belt from Brodie Lee?

The 150th Disgrunteld's OCHO Champion:

WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn (Reign started on March 8, 2020)

Questionable long-term booking has now cost AEW. With Allin feuding with Team Taz with FTW World Champion Brian Cage, why did he need to beat Cody Rhodes? It is great that Full Gear offered nothing but great matches, but Orange Cassidy is more over than Allin and easier to sell. Imagine if Cassidy had the belt in his feud with Miro.

There is indeed a charisma to Allin, but it is not near the level of Zayn who is definitely better rounded than Allin or Bobby Lashley.
