With NinetyforChill.com evolving into more than the rough draft blog for my primary blog, MainEventoftheDead.com needs a new place to test out the formatting of recent blogs. "Main Event of the Dead" is my screenplay about pro-wrestling and zombies. I have a movie website, so may as well have a wrestling site.

Spellbound: The Wizard and the Disgruntled's Real World Championships

*This blog post was started on November 2, 2022.

This blog post should serve as evidence as a proper, productive day. Oil change done, fat thawing out to fry up some wings therefore ending my four-day chicken fast, and my health benefits for the next year have been fulfilled. Hell, it seems I managed to stop Eva the Queen Kitty from licking her allergic wounds. What protein should she change to from chicken?

As I say that, she is taking another go at her scabby backside. It is like I am ironically writing that in to fruition.

If you want to know where my head is out, you best check out the blogs at MainEventOfTheDead.com. Hopefully, those rants will lead you to NinetyForChill: The Podcast.

But, with my Eva observation, I may as well bring up another coincidence. Driving to get my errands done, my iPhone decided to play Siouxsie and the Banshees instead of "Scream Drafts: High School Horror Mini Mega Draft". The song was "Spellbound". Spells are magic, and witches and wizards are masters of that. Here is hoping by the time I finish this post, the Disgruntled's Real World Championship maintains an association with wrestling's warlock. Otherwise, Alanis Morissette may as well have wrote this.

The Disgruntled's Current Real Champions (11/06/2022):

The 101st Disgruntled's Real Men's World Champion:
ROH World Champion Chris Jericho (3)
Reign began September 21, 2022.

So I had my issues getting back to the keyboard since the last Dynamite. My trivia excursion was a success on Thursday. As for Friday, it was difficult enough having the energy to make it to Rampage after the successful trivia night. Saturday was dedicated to paying my bills and then visiting my folks. That maybe a common theme with Mom heading to England, and Dad may enjoy the company.

After all of this, it is quite the relief from a blogger standpoint that Colt Cabana failed to defeat Jericho on Wednesday.

Do I have a bias against the WWE? Yes. If I did not, I would not have this blog maintain. AEW has had the best product from their inception until the Triple H regime took over. When I only have so much time to watch professional wrestling, do you think I would change my focus because Hunter is rearranging the board while maintaining the same pieces?

You can argue that Roman Reigns is currently the biggest star in the business. That is to WWE's detriment. He is rarely on TV and takes every other pay-per-view off. Turning him into a movie star will not help your company. WCW worked because of Hogan's failure.

Chris Jericho has defended his championship in less than two months enough times to equal half of Reign's challenges in the past two years. And with the number of defenses, he is the most active world champion.

You can say the AEW World Championship is more important, but it does not have the history of Ring of Honor and Moxley is focused on drama. This is a blog about praising wrestling over narrative. I am an indie wrestler. With a show a month, the wrestling better be good. Jericho is doing that biweekly and still delivers the drama.

We need some more photos of The Ocho

Hammer to Fall & The Honorable Disgruntled's Real World Champion

*This blog post was started on September 11, 2022.

It seems that time flies. I know, that is a common theme when it comes to my blog posts. Time management may be the real issue. But it was my mom's birthday yesterday. Was I not supposed to head to Morton, Illinois to celebrate the beginning of her 70th year? My latest tattoo was finished (And started, I am a simple man with the desire to be covered in nerd culture like a race car is covered in advertisements.) on Friday. If I am in the area, why not visit the cranky boomer and rewatch the last half hour of "Bohemian Rhapsody"?

Because, when you eat Old Chicago as your only real meal on Friday to be followed by Avanti's as Mom's birthday dinner, your body will punish you. Especially after they bought McDonald's to feed ThePoeticCritic, so after those McNuggets, what was I going to eat when I got back home? Ramen is not a way to stop my caloric intake for the day. Fried food was not an option, so a run to the border was made.

It may not be time management. It is probably my diet. We know that by the time this post is finished (If I am being optimistic), there will be a half hour lost to the restroom. And I still need to watch tonight's episode of "House of the Dragon".

Just install a chip inside me Tim Cook. I have to return my Apple Watch tomorrow since it was not receiving all the notifications that my phone was, but I dug the activity functions. But it cannot tell you how to manage bathroom stall time. Thus, being left like the villain in "I Saw the Devil" does not sound too bad. Leave a transmitter in my bowels to tell me when the chow will demand to vacate.

What is there to fear? Lee Byung-hun kicking my ass daily? I have been itching for some non-personal violence for a long time. Lee never cripples Choi Min-sik. He needs his opponent to be able to resist the next day.

And boom, I can now try to transition into a wrestling blog. Do you know who has no respect for the art of fighting?

Phil "CM Flunk" Brooks.

If he did, there would not have been a melee that resulted in a reset of all of Tony Khan's booking plans. It sucks because I would have loved to see him be obliterated in the ring the next time he tried to unify the Undisputed and Interim championships. You cannot get two comeback stories. Punk is not John Cena.

Now I am further inspired to watch "The Girl on the Third Floor". If Punk was going to turn into John Cena like the Red Sox became the New York Yankees, the bastard best be able to act. Otherwise, they shoot horses. He has no value to any media production.

Of course, I am ignoring the comic books he has written. Time management as a first shift employee has been more than established as not being my strong suit. At least CM Flunk cannot be accused of turning into the St. Louis Cardinals from the Chicago Cubs. They had a good six year run, but it is over. We maybe losers, but not sore losers. From what I could tell, we were not sore winners. Only teams that feel five letters are too many to describe knickerbockers become that.

After Moxley was allowed to establish doubt in the newest Southsider (As a Cubs fan, I have too much respect to call him a Cardinal.), I was given content for the Disgruntled's Real Championship Wrestling blog. Unfortunately, a second redemption arc has made it more troublesome. A week and a half belt swap without a legendary trilogy like Flair and Steamboat means that the AEW World Championship is not the championship in wrestling. A new Disgruntled's Real World Champion needs to be determined. Is it now a time to acknowledge the poser Roman Reigns?

The Current Title History of the Disgruntled's Men's Real World Championship:

The 98th Disgruntled's Real World Champion:
AEW World Champion CM Punk (3rd Reign was from May 29, 2022 to August 24, 2022)

The 99th Disgruntled's Real World Champion:
AEW Undisputed World Champion Jon Moxley (2rd Reign was from 8/4/22 to 9/4/22)

If I see 2029, I will probably need to create a new title history from 2019 forward. Hind sight may take away Punk's reign because we know it was not a great one. Injuries only allowed for one chance to defend the championship which was unsuccessful. At least Jon Moxley had three title defenses as Interim Champion which is more than what could be said of any other champion at the time with the exception of...

The 100th Disgruntled's Real World Champion:
ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli (His first reign began on 9/4/22).

The DRCW Interim Men's World Champion, Switchblade Jay White, has yet to defend his title for a second time while Castagnoli has defended his title three times. I think age before beauty allows the former Cesaro the top prize in pro-wrestling. If Tony Khan wants to be cute about championship recognition, he should make ROH the sanctioning body for AEW, provided that he cannot get ROH off the ground as either a touring or televised promotion.

NinetyForChill: The #Podcast - They Live. We Podcast with Gregory Carl

Episode 81: "They Live". We Podcast with Gregory Carl (and provide more "Rowdy" movie content).

Eva proves cats are not alien

They Live. We Podcast with Gregory Carl

August 16, 2022

We come to the conclusion of Cool Movies Darth and Gregory Carl's conversation about Roddy Piper's starring debut, "They Live". The two being pro-wrestling fans, means their conversation will inevitably focus on the wrestling business, but they go down some intriguing rabbit holes. Fresh off attending Fan Expo, CM Darth suggests the concept that Kevin Smith is the modern day John Carpenter. Gregory is a fan of "Tusk" and "Red State", so is this suggestion that ridiculous?

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

The two of us pick up after my attempt to give the respect that Al Leong deserves. With that said, I think this actor just needs his own major studio distributed starring film. It maybe too late for that. Danny Trejo got "Machete" when he was in his sixties. Leong has just turned seventy. Do I have a bad ass Asian-lead action script in me?

This serves as a nice transition to some of the wrestling chatter that the host of "The Mud Show" and I partake in. I suggest a formula on how to integrate pro-wrestlers into motion pictures. After suggesting several wrestlers who can make the transition to cinema, Gregory suggests a remake of Sonny Chiba's classic "The Street Fighter". Sorry, Jon Moxley. The premise calls for Al Leong. Can this be Quentin Tarantino's 10th movie?

Another interesting concept that we discuss (It was teased on the Podbean feed.) is whether or not Kevin Smith is filling the void left by John Carpenter. I suggest that they have the same style of direction. Their biggest concern is protecting their stories. Gregory immediately refers to the awesome horror movies Smith has directed ("Tusk" and "Red State") and even pitches a dramatic sequel to the first film in the once promised True North Trilogy.

NinetyForChill: The #Podcast - Russhausen Presents the @C2E2 Experience

 NinetyForChill.com: The #Podcast

Episode 80: Russhausen Presents the @C2E2 Experience ("Star Wars" Panels, MCU Worship, and Nerds Know???).

Danhausen or Cosplayer

Cool Movies Darth has returned home from C2E2 with all of the festivities (that he attended [Sorry Cosplay Ball]) documented for you. Was it better than Fan Expo Chicago? Who did he come to see? Did he do much to promote the NinetyForChill: The #Podcast? Cosplay's premier "Captain N: The Gamemaster" may finally be getting the nerd recognition he deserves. Or is he still pumped from the Danhausen photo op?

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

When you dedicate your spare time to creative efforts (podcasting, blogging, etc.), it can be tough to really...I mean really...enjoy yourself. I do not know if I have three to four day cons in me, but I did enjoy most of the weekend. It is just the little things like a hotel without snacks and Reed Pop having an app that was only intended to get my Facebook information. That is better than Fan Expo charging an extra hundred dollars to enjoy everything, but this is not the Meta nerds appreciate.

Since I was using valet parking, I did not unload all of my podcasting equipment. This lead me to document the first two days with the Podbean app. It works pretty well as long as there are no Apple iOS updates. Perhaps the ease of recording will inspire me to move on in creating a Patreon. What can I do for you that is worth five-dollars a month? Let me know at russthebus07@gmail.com.

The format of this podcast episode might be a little odd. I had released bonus episodes for day one and day two of the convention. These episodes will be available below. Because of this, this episode opens with me discussing day three and concluding the convention. If you listened to the bonus episodes, feel free to skip everything after Crowley's request for "a woo-hoo."

Episode 79: You Listen. "They Live"...with Gregory Carl (We came here to chew bubble gum and podcast. Thankfully, we were all out of bubble gum.).

Did animals not notice how fleshy and flavorful the aliens looked?

You Listen. ”They Live” with Gregory Carl

August 2, 2022

It only felt fitting to spend SummerSlam Weekend covering a movie starring the greatest heel in professional wrestling history, Roddy Piper. Gregory Carl from "The Mud Show" returns to "NinetyForChill: The #Podcast" to provide all the praise to perhaps the best feature starring a wrestler, "John Carpenter's They Live". This is a film so awesome that Cool Movies Darth suggests that it may have encouraged WWE to go into the movie business and resulted in CM Darth deciding to buy it a third time for all the possible special features that only Shout/Scream Factory can offer.

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

It seems that I will never get the scheduling for my podcast figured out. Because Gregory and I nearly chat about the movie for two hours (We were definitely bullshitting for more than that.), I felt it maybe wise to split the show into two parts. But C2E2 is this weekend, and of course I want to podcast about that convention.

Perhaps putting these episodes two weeks a part is a good idea. In other words, the numbers for my second part of "The Producers" were not what I hoped. If we listened to the first part of the recording, what is really going to change in the second? Well, I cannot promise me exposing all the sultry details of figuring out sex in "They Live" part two, but that is what you got last week.

Gregory and I are two retail employees who love pro-wrestling. This means we have a lot more in common with each other. Hence, these episodes should be more focused on the subject matter.

"Second Wind" for an Underemployed Pro-Wrestler & The Current REAL World Champions

*This blog post was started on July 26, 2022.

I hate my obsessive compulsive nature. Not because it seems ridiculous to place things in order (How else are you suppose to look good?), it is because it makes me do things when I do not have the energy to. My next shift starts at 7:30 am, after a day off of course.

That is the start of the nine-day work week. Between work, "NinetyForChill: The #Podcast", a goth night on Thursday, and prepping for C2E2, writing does not feel like it should be a priority. But, discipline is something I can claim to have.

I have the second season of "The Boys" on in my peripheral in hopes of concluding the third season by the time of the next convention. That is not the discipline that I speak of. "Disgruntled's Real Championship Wrestling" has been used as my template for the podcast blogs since I am trying to balance the total number of posts on that blog and MainEventOfTheDead.com. Since DRCW is formatted to have three posts on the homepage at one time, there needs to be a wrestling-related blog amongst them.

As I have said previously in blogs (I have ended up writing four posts in the last three days.), wrestling has not had much for me to write about. Everyone has an opinion of Vince McMahon leaving the business. Mine is, you are suppose to get out once they give you the 40 years of service ring. It will be interesting with Triple H taking over creative, but he only gets the toys that Nick Khan wants him to play with. Thus, for a website about arbitrary rankings, I have little to write about.

But, we just had a company (Ring of Honor) change two championships this past weekend. Since my last Real Championship Wrestling blog, the AEW tag team championships have changed twice. Do these change the Real World and Tag Team Championships? No, but it does mean there maybe new Men's Doubles Real World Champions.

The Disgruntled's Current Real World Champions of Professional Wrestling
(As of July 26, 2022).

But before I get to that, it is nuts how I watch television. It has been easy to watch the "Star Wars" series(s) and "The Boys". These are two things that Ally of Ally's Accessories Shop on Etsy did not get into. "Star Wars" was not for her since Grogu was not as lovable the old school Yoda. "The Boys" because, despite she does not mind (and maybe encourages) my use of CUNT, the outrageous and hilarious, paradoxical violence is too much.

It is just a coincidence that the show came on near our break up. I guess trying to say maybe there were too many c-words flying in my household. This is why she needs to take Skimble in when she and her fiancé get that condominium. There is a chance that I am a bad influence on the little guy.

Sorry for the tangent. My therapy session got cancelled. I did get to use the time to converge my PS4 into my PS5.

To sum it all up, the break between "Westworld" and "Stranger Things" is probably a year longer than the time I have been broken up from Ally. This is my excuse for not being up to date on their fourth seasons. I will give Netflix credit. "Stranger Things 4" was the talk of FanExpo Chicago 2022 (and the workplace).

As for HBO, there has been little chatter about the new adventures of Dolores. Thus, I feel like a shitty fan. If I am not watching "Westworld", who is? It does not sound like a bad thing to martyr myself for. The things I have let happen to me in the wrestling business means I have had dumber ideas.

Episode 78: "The Producers" (1967) & The Accompanying Explicit Nonsense (Michael Dubois ought to be in psychology [on the listening side].).

Summertime for Classy Eva Chaplin

The Producers 1967 and Accompanying Explicit Nonsense

July 26, 2022

Michael Dubois and Cool Movies Darth pick up where they left off with their discussion inspired by Mel Brooks's debut feature, "The Producers". The conversation starts with  exploring Zero Mostel's portrayal of Max Bialystock and his pension for seducing pensioners to fund his films. This leads into CM Darth's salacious adulthood, satirical takes towards parents, and "Star Wars" fandom. It only seems appropriate to attach a review for "Jay and Silent Bob Reboot" to this podcast.

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

I am big on squatting usernames/handles. This weekend I added @CoolMoviesDarth to my inventory of Twitter handles. The other five are @russthebus (I really should offer to sell that.), @MainEventZombie, @NinetyForChill, @CmDarth, and of course @catbusruss.

It seems that I was unaware of a default setting when I set up my latest account. When I started tagging people in my tweets, the immediate options included my aunt and uncle. One must go into their privacy settings to disassociate your contacts from being suggested as users to follow. This mean, use your email address instead of a phone number to start an account.

I bring this up because, despite I do not think I should feel shame in anything that I say on the podcast, there are people who may get offended who will panic, and tell people who will make my life tougher if they got this second hand. Not lose my job bad like the petty asshole Marissa Embry (Who I believe works at First Bank Tuscola), but familiar headaches and judgements. This episode divulges at least three stories that might trigger those feelings, especially since I just laugh them off.

After replaying the rest of the recording, it leaves me to wonder what I will have to talk about when I see my therapist later today. I like talking about myself, but I hate reruns (As I rewatch "Game of Thrones Season 4" in my peripheral.).

July 19, 2022

Michael Dubois returns to NinetyForChill: The #Podcast to continue their tribute to the late great Gene Wilder with 1967's "The Producers". It only seems fitting to revisit Mel Brook's motion picture debut in honor of his recent 96th birthday. This feature is Cool Movie Darth's favorite from the auteur, but Michael would have preferred Nathan Lane's presence. What the two do agree on: We need more mocking of the Far Right via cinema.

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

So...I am not waiting till the last minute to get this post completed. What is another lost day off? "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" is in my library. There will be a day when it will finally be played.

To my credit, I have at least figured out how to make these blog posts relatively concise. There is a chance that I will be ably to enjoy the rest of this Sunday. Too bad it has to be cut short since my early shifts always seem to come the day following my scheduled days off.

Sleeping in is something my cats graciously allow me. The result is I responsibly only get 10 hours to fuck around. Do employers consider that some people like to stay up late and do stupid things with their time? Sorry that I have chose not to procreate. Somethings you do not have to out grow.

It is having late nights that allow me to find and truly appreciate classic cinema. This is especially true when you lived with a girl for the better part of four years who did not like Mel Brooks. You would think that Ally from Ally's Accessories Shop on Etsy would appreciate all of the musical numbers. Thankfully Michael Dubois does.

The Wrestler: My lost @ICCHarbinger Movie Review

*Blog post was started on July 24, 2022. The file this blog is based on was last modified on April 23, 2009.

Mentally, I am thoroughly exhausted. It was stated in the last blog, "Imagine We Had VHS: Ultraviolet: Code 044", that two-day weekends were not a foreseeable luxury. As it turns out, after my therapy-dedicated July 26, my schedule consists of nine straight days featuring three 10-hour days (two of which are back-to-back). With a podcast to record before C2E2, needless to say, my depression seems warranted for a change. There is some Ally drama, but that will be saved for my therapist.

To make matters worse creatively, wrestling's championships sure feel static. I know we have a new AEW Interim World Champion (so no better than the current Disgruntled's Real World Championship) and the most dangerous champion in women's wrestling lost her title (but I do not display much respect for Money in the Bank cash ins), but it does not change the top REAL WORLD champions. I want to alternate between anime and wrestling when it comes to topics for "MainEventOfTheDead.com", so I seem stuck.

And with seemingly no immediate call for "NinetyForChill: The #Podcast" guests (emphasis on seemingly), I have yet to catch up on a lot of movies. This lead me trying to rearrange and straighten up my apartment. There was a TV to recycle and a PlayStation 4 to sell (just in case I am on the verge of bankruptcy two: electric boogaloo), needing a third entertainment center in a one-bedroom domicile seemed excessive. Thus, the old hard drive from my Vista PC that I was using to rip Redbox DVDs (the good olde days) was moved over to this slow Lenovo. Serendipitously, my first ICC Harbinger movie review was found.

Lets see if the proofreading this copy and pasted post will inspire me to overcome this story being way too personal to me and finally give the home media release (which I have bought twice) a complete viewing. That is a tough task because I think I can manage to binge two season of "The Boys" before C2E2. Priorities.

Cool Movies Darth was able to binge "Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi" in 48-hours to prepare for Fan Expo in Rosemont, IL. Did he have the energy to thoroughly enjoy the reskin of Wizard World (and Chicago Comic Con before that)? There was Carl Weathers, Ron Perlman, Boyd Holbrook, and a bunch of Hobbits, but since there is only one "Return" (and it is not "of the King"), CM Darth was dedicated to the Kevin Smith content. Was he willing to put up with the challenges and lack of encouragement to get his Bluntman and Chronic Funko Pop! 2-Pack autographed? Here is his story.

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

It is kind of weird to have the lack of pressure to watch movies right now. Dare I say, it is a nice reset. Am I relaxing? Probably not enough. C2E2 is just around the corner, so I will have to get my binging spectacles on at some point. There is "The Boys" and "West World" to get to.

Granted, I have yet to see "West World" have much of a presence at either C2E2 or Wizard World/Fan Expo. HBO lacks a presence at the cons anyhow. COMIC CON San Diego will have occurred by the time I go up to Chicago proper. Is there much to get excited for the first weekend of August? If there is no Quentin Tarantino (which you know there will not be), what can top Kevin Smith when it comes to anticipation?

”Mad God” = Expletives & Nutty Podcasters with Gregory Gathmann

July 5, 2022

NinetyForChill.com's Guide to Shudder, "The Mudshow's" Gregory Gathmann needed five beers and someone to chat about Phil Tippett's magnum opus "Mad God", so he came to Cool Movies Darth. The two were impressed with this dialogue-free, stop-motion, animated feature that took 30 years to make, but what does it mean? Is it good cinema or merely superb visual art? These two podcasters try to make sense of this feature and perhaps even their lives.

Allow me to get out of third-person. Happy Prof. Shurtleff of Illinois Central College? I (CM Darth) will try not to make so much light of violent death in this summation. This is my declaration of changing perspective.

So...the scheduling of how I am handling my podcast blogs is changing. This may only be temporary. Last weekend, I had ended up drinking three of four nights.

Night one was the monthly Bat Factory Goth Night by The Darkness Underground at the Rose Bowl in Urbana, IL. My therapist wants me to take on any social interaction I can get regardless of the 10-hour retail shift to follow. Night 2 was made up of trying to stay conscious enough to watch this film. Night 3 was for drinking and recording this podcast's episode. I also had to try and stay up after the recording (and 7-hour shift) to watch 1967's "The Producers" in preparation for another recording. Night 4 had me finishing off the $2 frozen July 4th cocktails (with added vodka) and recording that episode with Michael Dubois (this after an 8-hour shift).

Of course, I had to work the July 4th holiday. My exhaustion had not been this bad since I was starting my weekends on Thursday nights to exploit VIP room discounts at Big Al's, drudging through a copywriting shift and two hotel concierge shifts only to end up drinking on Saturday nights. At least that was a time where I would never allow myself to work seven days in a row. Remember the Sabbath I suppose.

The first week of July was going to conclude with my trip to all four days of Fan Expo Chicago. This meant at least two more long nights. I may have been sober for them, but I am really backed up when it comes to nerd culture. I have yet to start up season three of "The Boys" or season four of "Westworld". With Kevin Smith being my primary draw to the convention, it seemed necessary to complete his filmography with "Jay & Silent Bob Reboot". One thing for certain, binging "Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi" was a must. Thus, two more nights of little rest.

Give Me the Prize: Download that Queen Song and the NEW Disgruntled's Interim Champion

*Blog post was started on June 10, 2022.

I am in a relatively good mood. It turns out that all of my stress may have been based out of financial concerns, but I ended up figuring that out. There is still a need to address my parents when it comes to what they are expecting from their 42 year-old son with no kids and a job that just pays enough but does not offer a retirement (The stock market is killing me right now as I stick around $1..., best not let Experian google me.).

Of course, trying to get home to do that when your job does not offer a set schedule can be a challenge. With Fan Expo coming up soon, I need to find out who is babysitting my big sister, so I guess I just have to deal with the gas prices. There is enough credit to get a scooter out right, but that does not necessarily build my credit?

I got to get my mind off of the money. This is something that I had just conquered. Live in the present I suppose.

And this present has lead us to a time where we are actually going to crown an Interim Men's World Champion. It is probably going to be a simple exercise, but with my brain, I can probably over complicate it.

The Actual Disgruntled's Men's World Heavyweight Champion

The most recent DRCW Interim Championship was established after Seth Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank. This reign is included in the Disgruntled's Real Men's World Championship title history, but this was the second time that I declared a Money in the Bank cash in part of the history. It is a cowardly way to earn the championship, because of that, I, as the Disgruntled, negated the other 19 people who have won this way.

With hindsight being 20/20 (One more reason why we should have known to wear mask and get vaccinated. The year told us to think of 1918.), I went back to offer alternative champions. Tony Khan is making the wise decision to state his own interim champion, but for a mark, we have four other champions who may be better than a soon to be glorified number one contender. Thus, it is time to figure out who is the current champion in waiting.

Non-Murderous, Undisclosed Desires and the Current Disgruntled's Wrestling Champions

*This blog post was started on May 31, 2022.

Nothing seems to be going right in starting this post. I looked up songs by The Smiths to come up with a title for the personal part of the blog only to look at my previous posts to find that two posts ago was called "Pick Your Smiths Songs". That is a real kick in the teeth because "Suffer Little Children" would be fitting for the past week.

If it is any consolation for us Americans who have compassion instead of homicidal desires (Are these what Matt Bellamy was singing about?) and the need to defend their past, Twitter has not been too bad. Prior to Uvalde, I was still getting some gun nuts coming out of the woodwork in regards to my call for them to practice their aim instead of buying semi-automatic weapons. Those tweets were sent during WrestleMania weekend. Did those cunts just get out of Twitter jail and had to catch up on whatever those who are more careful in their echo chamber had to disparage?

They are probably just laying low right now because the cowards they voted for are taking the heat for the bullshit they would spout in their stead. If being in power cannot stop you from being an embarrassment, what can your anonymous ass do? Once the house passes their legislation, they will probably express their paranoia again because racist assholes like Rodney Davis had failed them, so red state senators cannot.

I thought I would get around to writing about my own struggles (like trying to find something to enjoy that is not dependent on the influence of others per my therapist), but after naming an incompetents racist, memories of his anti-woman stance come to mind. It has been so long since I wrote for the sake of writing, I did not get to express my anger over Roe v. Wade's inevitable overturning. Should I be writing just to get my rage out? If Mom cracks down on the therapy bills, that maybe my only option.

There is a part of me that thinks I maybe adding even more stress into my life by going to therapy. We are developing a good report, but can it help me? I think that I maybe focusing more on my problems, so that I will have them to talk about. Hence, my troubles seem like they are on my mind more now. With rent going up $60 and a credit card interest coming do, working short shifts with few friends leaves me focused on the lack of money. Sticking around before/after my shift was scheduled to begin/end may help the pocketbook, but it is only more time to think about how few pages are in it.

When it comes to finding outlets to be social, my big sister finds it in Twitter. With her personality, it is easy to see why. She gets to chat with fellow ignored souls. To cope with the assholes she had to endure, being ignored meant a good day. I suppose my problem is that I cannot stand just being ignored.

And the world's problem is not developing a thick skin where they can ignore silly statements. I have probably left people more upset by calling Johnny Depp menacing and claiming that people who ignore their dogs on walks to focus on their phones are closet cat people. People want to be heard, but not interacted with. How dare anyone make them think of the trivial (and occasional dim) things they have said.

Then you get assholes like @daykyle who want to remind me how Cody Rhodes return to WWE is improving rating for McMahon's promotion while the needle only moved once for CM Punk's return to wrestling. I guess this blog will piss him off. Maybe it will get him to write blogs because 280 characters cannot offer him an argument.

The Current Disgruntled's Real Wrestling Champions (May 31, 2022)

With that said, we already know who is going to be named the Men's World Champion. How is Cody going to top the CM Punk story? He is not going to be the guy to unseat the DRCW Interim Champion. Winning Money in the Bank and then cashing in after Roman Reigns beats The Rock is the only way I think his story can be better than what Punk's comeback has been.

He might get a brief reign before WrestleMania, but unless McMahon is going to make the turncoat their top guy and abandon the 10-year build of the Chris Hero stand in, it is not going to mean a damn thing. A reign where Roman just gets the belt(s) back is nothing more that a shallow means to claim that WWE has shown the upmost respect to The American Dream.

Head On...into the Unknown: My Life and Women's Wrestling

Head On...into the Unknown: My Life and Women's Wrestling

So the blog titles are bleeding in to the nineties now. I suppose it cannot be helped. Until "Return of the Jedi", the first part of the eighties were a little blurry. There was "Flash Gordon", but that album only has a couple of tracks with actual lyrics. The title song will not help to describe my life. Lets just forget about "The Hero".

Why am I suggesting my future is unknown? It feels like all I can do is take life one day at a time. My finances are stable, but there is always the unexpected expense to fear. Therapy seems overpriced, but not surprising. We will have to break that down after the next appointment.

But, money is the only thing to worry about, and that is just something I philosophically want to avoid worrying about. If there is anything tense about it right now, it is that I have to actually pay for Zoom. Who would have thought that the Dwayne Johnson/Karl Urban based on a video game feature, "Doom" is going to bring out the most people wanting to record a podcast?

Another financial punch might be needing to find cooler music for the podcast. If you are going to be working with "Wheel of Horror", my uplifting theme by "The Smithereens" may not fit the proposed episode. I may just wait until this four-person, multi-time zone episode is in the can.

Just take the hit for Zoom. I do not want to miss out on the promo code. Why else would I have gotten another credit card?

Well, there are medical expenses. I cannot cost my folks $500 a month. And who knows what the cost of "Forbidden Door" tickets are going to run me. Better to have than wish.

My only wish is for a surprising death. Retirement is for those with college degrees. Hence why we need student loan forgiveness. A degree with debt leaves you in as bad a condition as me.

I am just worried about a static life right. I get enough static bullocks with the wrestling scene. We need competition just so we can get some hot shot booking to make my rankings seem more interesting.

The Disgruntled's Women's Wrestling Power Ranking (5/08/2022):

I am not saying that I want world titles to change hands frequently, but when all promotions are just keeping the same champions, it does not encourage you to watch the other promotion. Hollywood Hogan held the WCW belt for nearly two years, and it should have been a good idea (Starrcade 97 proved otherwise.). WWF knew they did not have an icon at the time, so they had to surround their championship with drama instead of sport.

Right now, wrestling promotions are too concerned with creating new icons. WWE is not even thinking about anything else. So, needless to say, "WrestleMania: Backlash" is not really impressing me, with the exception of Edge getting a better booked House of Black.

I will give the Smackdown Women's Championship "I Quit" match credit, but that is just a course correction. So, do not expect Rhonda to rank at the top.

The Number One Women's Wrestler in the World:
Thunder Rosa (Up 7 spots)

  • She is the current Disgruntled's Women's Real World Champion.
  • She is the current AEW Women's World Champion.
  • She is the only current Western, televised wrestling women's champion with a secondary title holder beneath her further cementing her importance.
  • Serena Deeb is the next top contender. If AEW plays up that this is the woman who took the NWA title from Rosa, we can lead to thinking that a title change is possible.

The Number Two Women's Wrestler in the World:
Bianca Belair (Up 4 Spots).

  • She is the current Raw Women's Champion (A belt that has been recognized as the Real World Championship).
  • She has yet to lose at WrestleMania.
  • The Raw women's roster is being booked better, so she should get the finest contender.

Pick Your Smith's Song and the Current Disgruntled's Undisputed Champions

*This blog post was started on April 6, 2022.

I think I am to the point that to determine that it was not the Grassroots "Devil Pupils" strain from NuEra East Peoria that has triggered my recent plunge into depression. Something just flipped Monday night as I was high and watching "Robot Chicken" to close my night. Suddenly I thought I was just bound for financial ruin which escalated to me questioning, "for what?"

If I cannot eat 10 boneless wings from Wing Stop (an Ally's Accessories Shop on Etsy tradition) before calling it a Tuesday night because nothing seemed worth it, you know my head is fucked up. The day prior I finally received correspondence (three month late) from IDES in regards to my appeal of their decision that Marine Bank was not responsible for unemployment benefits when they fired me for writing about my life as a banker with no specific details about my them or their customers. There is to be an interview, probably between both parties, and I am just fighting for $606 that their bitterness is withholding from me.

I have a better job that takes their employees extenuating circumstances into consideration, pays better, and keeps the staff busy enough that being allowed (which Marine Bank management during downtime) to blog is not even an issue. But, Marine Bank took my savings because I told them how I thought their managers could do better for its employees. They are an overly sensitive management team in Champaign, and that is how we got here.

If you want to find out where I work, you need to listen to older episodes of "NinetyForChill.com: The #Podcast". Like the blogs of MainEventOfTheDead.com, there are no indications of which episodes that I talk about this employer from any of the episode titles. Feel free to explore.

I bring up this drama that I thought may have triggered my downward spiral. Thinking about money made me think about coming up short. It has not happened, but I down an extra $100 each week since I do not have the means of making that with only one job. This leads me to ponder what is the point.

My podcast is not making me money. On top of that, finding guest is problematic and actually leaves me being jealous. Why is it that life never happens to me? No one has the time for the show while I always do. It almost seems like it would be nice to be able to leave my friends hanging because I have to.

At least my 2007 bankruptcy was over a woman who claimed to be Stacia Hardin's best friend's heroin addiction. It does not sound like she is clean, but she has at least got to start a family from me keeping her comfortable till she got knocked up. If I am a financial mess now, that just means a failure.

This makes me ponder how many of the scores of people directed to consume my Twitter (@catbusruss) notifications over my statement that semiautomatic firearms should be outlawed have taken the time to read my blogs or listen to my podcasts. They like trying to mock my photos or spread them to encourage me harm. I have only responded to two of these asshole just because they wanted to call my martial skills fake. It just means I got to be careful. I do not want them think they pushed me to self harm.

My dreams of Stacia are driving me crazy enough. Thankfully Eva and Skimble are looking after me, but what if Eva goes?

I meant to start this blog last night, but instead wallowed in my melancholy. It may have just been a good thing that I am typically exhausted on Tuesday's because of releasing my podcast late Monday night and trying to make something out of my weekend. Of course, the weekends just seem to be self indulgent, so again, what is the point? Especially after this evening's pleas for help were ignored.

Fortunately, I hate having AEW spoiled, so I had to watch tonight. Thanks Christian Cage and Adam Cole (Bay Bay!) for putting on an exciting match to get me back to the keyboard. The problem now is that I will not be in bed before 1 a.m., but I think my last tweet sums everything up. To put briefly, you just take whatever win you can get.

Not even halfway through #AEWDynamite and I got to thank @TonyKhan and company for a great show that has gotten me back on my feet during the worst depression funks I've been in recently. Pardon the hyperbole, but thanks for letting me claim to beat a Funk.

Sorry Terry and Dory Jr.

Foolin: My Life and a Summation of Tag Team Wrestling?

*This blog post was started on March 15, 2022.

It does not seem to have the power some of the more silly Def Leppard tracks ("Rocket" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me" come to immediate mind.), but it seems more complex than those "sing over a drum beat" songs. The title also works to describe my state of mind.

Another rough weekend. How will I survive once the weekends are only one day?

Maybe that is what I need. Less time to get myself pumped up for an inevitable let down. Both weekends that I spent in Partial Hospitalization for Depression led to me being on Suicide Watch the following Monday. That is a bit of hyperbole, but lengthy conversations with Catholic counselors did not help. How were things going to get better than wrestling training, interviewing the stars of AAW (and usually being humiliated by them), having a few drinks, and getting $20 to make sure I had the gas to get home?

I guess you can say this past weekend was adjacent to that. My family is doing well aside from my mom's allergies. With her being under the weather and my big sis and dad being mature adults, it was easy to slip out to the Peoria bar scene.

Was it exciting, not really, but I thought every turn had potential. Too bad the 8-Bit Beercade's last call was midnight. I was denied the time to complete "Turtles in Time". The only other bar of interest to me (Pizza was the family dinner, so Hoops seemed redundant.) was Big Al's. It was too crowded for my taste. Who would have thought the Indoor Demolition Derby would be such a draw? But, I thought the night was turning around when an old friend saw me there.

Needless to say, the tax refund was about gone, but I do feel a bit cheated in terms of debauchery. She asked if I wanted to go to VIP, and I said yes. Too bad it took forever to scrounge up the funds to do so. What was worst was that she was running the clock instead of the club. Time is money. It just happened to be dedicated with her wanting to focus on the past six years since I left Peoria instead of grinding on me. I suppose that is about the cost of therapy.

She was kind to me and we did enjoy some "Highlander: The Series" conversation. Of course that means she had no respect for the films or movies in general, so no Podcast number boost from that.

She did her best to ensure me that I am doing fine. There was an expression that me being single for the past two years shows my strengths. My life style of appreciating strip clubs was also applauded regardless of my age. I think she was encouraging me to give the Silver Bullet a chance. In the end, my comfort was what she seemed most concerned about.

It is great to know that people want me to be happy, but it feels like they expect me to just accept that it is as good as it will be. Ambition is frowned upon. This makes me feel like a bad bet. My friend mentioned how she wished that we had rich parents. Well...mine were not when I grew up.

Outside of my wrestling career, I cannot say that I have had a chance to fail. And when it comes to my wrestling career, I cannot say that my parents were supportive of that.

It is not just my folks, but my friends before I moved to Champaign-Urbana ignored my efforts to make a bad movie and the time I put into the wrestling career. I am either socially inept (probably) or a broken person.

Ally was great to me this weekend and wants me to succeed, but she just came up with a lot of wishful thinking. Or maybe I am just too good at arguing. Blue Chew will not sponsor me because I ask was one of the things I had to explain to her.

I did visit Stacia's grave and left with some wisdom, I think. Help is something I am desperate for. It may not be towards my art, but I think I found a way to try and be better that is affordable/justifiable.

With that said, if you brain is where mine is at, take Marty & Sarah's advice and visit nami.org. That is my best effort for a transition towards the draw of the blog.

WRESTLING! YAY!

The Disgruntled's Real Men's Tag Team Power Rankings (03/15/2022)

The Number 1 Tag Team in the World:
SmackDown Tag Team Champions:
The Usos: Jimmy and Jey Uso

  • They had successfully retained their championship against WWE's greatest tag team, The New Day, to start the year. The New Day is currently out of the scene after Big E's broken neck.
  • The SmackDown Tag Team Championship has been previously recognized as the Disgruntled's Real World Tag Team Championship.
  • They did vanquish the other remaining tag team of significance on SmackDown, The Viking Raiders.

The Number 2 Tag Team in the World:
AEW World Tag Team Champions:
Jurassic Express: Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus

  • The AEW World Tag Team Championship was the most recent DRCW Real World Tag Team Championship.
  • This was well booked, but it is a team with a Shawn and Marty vibe. They will need to beat all comers (the dream opponents for the Lucha Bros.) to make this reign stand the test of time.
  • They have met a greater challenge than any The Uso's have faced after defeating both ReDragon and the Young Bucks. But with Fenix injured and Santana and Ortiz embroiled with the Jericho Appreciation Society, I do not know who is available and worthy to take the titles off them.
  • They are the DRCW Unified Gnarly Men's Doubles World Champions.
