*Blog post started on September 16, 2020.
The writing was supposed to begin with a blog about "Persona 4: The Animation", but I think I ran a little long with the introduction. I find my life to be interesting enough, but my posts are not suppose to be the story of me (for the most part). It is suppose to be about my insights into entertainment mediums to establish trust wit my reader that I have obviously written a great B-movie screenplay about zombie and indie wrestlers, "Main Event of the Dead". If you trust me, either ask for a script treatment or provide me suggestions on how to get this feature out of development hell. My email is russthebus07@gmail.com.
So, I just stuck my 1:15 minute video review of the Mark Dacascos's vehicle "One Night in Bangkok". It is like "Collateral" if the assassin had a conscience and a lack of mobility. John Wick must have taken all of the fight out of The Chairman.
The worst thing about writing the blog to accompany the video was having a great transition to my review for "Persona 4's" first three episodes involving video games. I guess I will come back to that. My most pressing problem is The Disgruntled's Real Championship Wrestling blog needs a wrestling blog entry between two non-wrestling posts meant for MainEventOfTheDead.com. To make matters worse, I do not have any more bullshit to use as an intro.
This will be posted after the "Toxicity and Mark Dacascos in "One Night in Bangkok"" review, so I guess I can update you about getting the funds to avoid an overdraft after HostGator attacked my PayPal with little notice. Lunch was rushed once I got back from lunch hour and my visit to Disc Replay. It took 20 minutes to tell me they could not take my Zapper, which I am cool with. How about "Captain N" cosplay for C2E2 2021? My presumption is that it did not work, but do they have a tube TV in the back to test it out with? They also gave me back an original NES controller, so the likelihood is that the Zapper gone bad.
Now it just makes me want to find a NES Max just to have as a prop. I do miss the one I sold seven years ago. On the plus side, that will be something which is more affordable on eBay to look for. That hunt will serve as a distraction from me looking at old championship wrestling belts.
With segues like that, how can you not trust me to have written a brilliant script?
The Disgruntled's Modern Poser Championship (2010 to 2015)
This may get tricky because the WWE's ECW Championship was retired at the end of "Naked White Cops, WWE's ECW, and The Modern Poser Championship". There were six years between this belt's retirement and the establishment of the WWE Universal Championship. You know there will definitely be vacancy or two in the TNA/GFW/Impact title history. As established in the past Modern Poser blog, I could just go and use the IWGP Heavyweight Championship to fill the holes like the original ECW Heavyweight Championship. It will eventually get elevated out of the poser status. Puroresu fans should not be pissed.
The 16th Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
TNA World Champion AJ Styles (2/16/2010 to 4/19/2010)
17th: Rob Van Dam (2) (4/19/10 to 8/19/10)
The 18th Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate Champion BxB Hulk (8/19/2010 to 1/28/2011)
I think I have dodged a bullet here. Dragon Gate USA was the first Gabe Sapolsky promotion after he left Ring of Honor, so I feel this title deserves discussion since it would also be recognized in Sapolsky's final promotion, Evolve (Now on the WWE Network). Since this is the top belt for the American sister of Dragon Gate, I do not think this should piss off puroresu fans.
Rob Van Dam would need to vacate the TNA championship due to having too few dates on his contract. Sorry to shun the kayfabe injuries. Hulk's reign will only leave Jeff Hardy out in the cold, but 2010 Hardy was not the best Hardy.
The 19th Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson...Anderson (1/28/11 to 2/13/11)
I am in the camp that WWE should have stuck with running him up to the main event at some point and despised the politics that led to Mr. Kennedy's WWE departure. It is good to recognize his potential which I think is more pressing than promoting puroresu in the States.
20th: Jeff Hardy (1) (2/13/11 to 3/3/11)
The 21st Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate Champion Yamato (3/3/11 to 11/13/11)
This is when Eric Bischoff did not see any money in TNA's homegrown talent. Hardy would drop his belt to Sting, who would drop it to Anderson, who would drop it back to Sting, who would drop it to Kurt Angle who lost a retirement match the prior year.
The 22nd Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
TNA World Champion Bobby Roode (1) (11/13/2011 to 7/8/2012)
Johnny Gargano was not ready to be a "World" champion. After Bobby Roode's NXT run, you know that he carries himself as a champion at all times.
23rd: Austin Aries (7/8/12 to 10/14/12)
24th: Jeff Hardy (2) (10/14/2012 to 3/10/2013)
25th: Bully Ray (3/10/13 to 7/18/13)
26th: Chris Sabin (7/18/13 to 8/15/13)
27th: Bully Ray (2) (8/15/13 to 10/20/13)

DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano (10/20/2013 to 4/14/2014)
AJ Styles would beat Bully Ray to end the Aces and Eights era of TNA. Styles did not want to be there and did not resign with the company. Gargano had held the DGUSA championship for nearly three years.
29th Ricochet (4/14/14 to 11/16/14)
The 30th Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
TNA World Champion Bobby Roode (2) (11/16/2014 to 1/7/2015)
We still have three more years before Gargano became a more bankable commodity than Roode.
31st Bobby Lashley (2) (1/7/15 to 3/20/15)
The 32nd Disgruntled's Mondern Poser Champion:
DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate / Evolve Champion Drew Galloway/McIntyre (3/20/15 to 7/10/15)
Kurt Angle would defeat Lashley when he was a year from retiring as a full-time wrestler. Galloway was the hottest heavyweight on the indies.
The 33rd Disgruntled's Modern Poser Champion:
TNA World Champion EC3: Ethan Carter the Third (7/10/15 to 10/4/15)
From listening to the Wrestling Compadres Slamcast (It is now too preachy about WWE at the standard for my taste), EC3 was suppose to be the man who could turn around TNA's fortune. Timothy Thatcher was the Evolve Champion (and would retire the DGUSA championship), but was not an Adonis-like heavyweight to warrant as much attention as TNA's Champion.
Of course, TNA will hold up Matt Hardy's first reign as TNA Champion to try and emulate NJPW's G1 Climax after Global Force Wrestling brought knowledge of the King of Sport to the American wrestling fans. DGUSA had closed down and Evolve had developed a relationship to develop WWE talent, thus their championship was secondary to the promotion's purpose. What is the next title do I choose to place a phony claim towards?
Fortunately, I have my "Persona 4" blog to produce first. This will give me plenty of time to figure that out. Only five more years to go.
